Azan is a Muslim prayer that is used as a means of worship and religious activity. It is considered to be the first of the five daily prayers, and is performed by Muslims at least once a day. It is a kind of du'a, which means asking Allah for forgiveness and blessing. It is also used to ask for guidance and wisdom.

In the Qur'an, azan is mentioned many times, and in a few verses, it is stated that those who have faith in Allah will listen to azan, and that those who do not have faith in Allah will not be able to hear it:

"And to the believers, do convey the message. As for those who have believed and done righteous deeds, Allah will preserve them; and they will live in security and peace. And for the oppressors, We will give them double retribution, and they will not get the end. It is written for the wrongdoers, Those who have believed and done righteous deeds, will receive a reward like that of those who have believed and done righteous deeds, and they will be among the just ones." (Qur'an: 2:124)
